Inglorious Basterds |

You got to love a Tarantino-movie and I do! After seeing Inglorious Basterds an applause sounded trough the theater so I guess the last line of Lt. Aldo Raine "this is my masterpiece" sure nails it. In this movie Quentin Tarantino made sure there were enough weird naziguys like the twisted SS-Colonel Hans Landa, who has a thing with languages. German, English, French or Italian you name it, he knows it. This guy is great! In the trailer you are teased with a baseballbatscene and I can tell you this is a memorable part. I don't want to spoil all the little sickness in this movie, so I wont, but finding out how the Basterds send Germans back home really leaves a mark... get it?!.
But what about the little details? Even a blind man could see it was a Tarantino. The 60's, 70's music, the flowerpower nametag of sergeant Hugo Stiglitz also known as the nazi-officer-killer. (awesome scene!) and of course the dialogues with loads of humor whe all know from his other movies.
The story is great. The core is about revenge so it is easy to follow. In a weird way Germans getting butchered makes us laugh, so does the shouting of Hitler and not to forget the Tennessee accent of Aldo the Apache. "Bongiorno." Hilarious! All together blood, killing, humor, a story and some great actors like the cast of this movie sure gives us a great 2.5 hours of film.
Maybe the real Tarantino-fans missed Samuel L. Jackson... They better go an see Inglorious Basterds again!
