Great news! Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs didnt go down the hill like the creators did with Meltdown, but they went way up the hill with part 3. After gedding used to the usual characters (like the now pragnent Ellie), we got an whole new bunch of characters. In this movie we meet baby dinos, a momma dino and a slightly disturbed weasel called Buck. This Buck is a Rambo look-a-like and likes to fight dinosaurs that are way bigger then he is.
If you ask me, part 1 was hilarious. But part 2 missed one great thing and that was the high amount of humor part 1 did have. Well I can tell you not to be worried, because in part 3 the creators made sure there was plenty of it. I guess to make up for part 2. 
The creators also did a fresh new thing with scrat and his future wife, which you have to find out yourself. Anyway, to get in the mood, here is the trailer.
