Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince should become movie of the year. Ticket sales are going off the charts and everyone just can't wait to see it. But is the movie worth it?
I remember Harry Potter being a movie full of magic, friendship, exciting battles and difficult tasks.
I am sorry to say, but the battles and the tasks went out of the window.
In this part there came a whole lot of humor (which is great) next to hours of talking. Also Ron finds him self being a real ladies man, too bad that almost got him killed.
The movie kicks off with some great special effects. 3 dark flying smokey projectiles (Death Eaters) fly trough London and demolish half of it. Great start I thought. The only thing is... the next 1,5 hours you will be listening to conversations... and a lot of it! Yet again, I must say the love affairs throughout the movie are really amusing and funny.
After a while you will be brought to the point of your seat and you will be scared out of your pants. The excitement we missed in the movie finaly makes it's debut and it won't let you down.
The bookreaders might find surten very important pieces missing in the movie and they are probably right. But don't forget that there will be a last and final film, which is cut in two parts because it's too big. Could that be because that movie will put all the little pieces of the puzzle on it's place? Should we see Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince as a 2,5 hour long teaser for part 7? I sure as magic rejoice for that last part. Do you?
