finally after 14 years of waiting James Cameron, known for his great work on Titanic, got his hands on the technology he needed for his brainchild.
In Avatar he takes us to a whole new and spectacular fantasyworld called Pandora, something we have never seen before.
In this world each detail counts and glows beautifully. Each flower, each bug, even the soil is part of this breathtaking world that the Na'vi call their home.
In a nutshell: The Na'vi are an Indian like race. They live in a huge tree that happens to stand on something very valuable to us, the humans.
Jake Sully is a Marine, who lost the use of his legs. Lucky for him he looks like his dead twinbrother, so he can use the Avatar originally meant for his brother to get in contact with the Na'vi.
Soon after his first trip into the forest of Pandora, he gets lost and meets Neytiri, daughter of the Na'vi tribeleaders.
When the movie begins, you don't know what to expect, but soon enough you get pulled right into the world of Pandora. I think because of the 3D effects the experience of this film is so breathtaking, this movie might be the best movie ever!
Sometimes it's just like being in a amusement park with things to see everywhere.
It's like you're right there with the Na'vi. The surrounding nature is almost near you. Sometimes it's like standing right next to Neytiri and Jake when they browse through this magic world.
I'am not going to write down the whole storyline, because this is something you really should experience yourself!
But I can tell you this film will manage to keep you bound to it for two and a half hours.
It makes you feel happy, sad or even mad, but afterwards you feel like you had a joyfull journey to the world of Pandora with Jake and Neytiri as your host.
